Bachelor of Science in Nursing

B.Sc. Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing is an undergraduate Nursing course. Nursing is a healthcare profession focused on the care of individuals, families and communities so that they may attain, maintain or recover to optimal health and lead quality life. During the course, it is taught to the nurses, how to work in a variety of specialities. They work independently and as part of a team to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care. Nursing Science is a field of knowledge based on the contributions of a nursing scientist through peer-reviewed scholarly journals and evidenced-based practice. The duration of the course is four years. The value of the course is immense and it is job oriented in nature.

For B.Sc Nursing - Candidates who have passed intermediate/ 10+2/ NOS / PDC/ HSSC with Biology, Physics & Chemistry as optional subjects. Candidates who have passed Vocational MPHW with Bridge Course are also eligible (candidates passed in Vocational Intermediate, any group are also eligible, provided the bridge course is completed). Candidates should have completed the age of 17 years as on 31st December of year of admission.
