Sri Vikas Institute of Medical Science

Sri Vikas Institute of Medical Sciences (SVIMS) was started in the year 2002 offering Diploma Courses viz., DMLT, DOA and DRGA. The Diploma courses are recognized by AP Paramedical Board, Hyderabd. Later in the year 2004 it got permission from the Government of Andhra Pradesh to start B.Sc MLT course affiliating to Dr NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada. This was one of the first institutes in the District to offer courses in Medical Lab Technology. The institute has good number of highly qualified and experienced staff to provide theory and practical training to the students in all subjects. The college has successfully seen through Seven batches of graduates since its inception. The college is attached to RIMS Government Medical Hospital for clinical training of its students.
